Britons have been warned the weather this weekend will be remarkably worse than previous days, as an area of low pressure continues to force its way across the UK.
In fact, the weather across the Atlantic is very rough and stormy out to sea, which spells trouble for UK citizens as it approaches the island today.
Friday is expected to be quite wet and windy, especially across western areas, where gale force winds are likely to strike and here there may be travel disruptions.
Weatherman Matt Taylor told BBC Breakfast viewers: “The day will be going downhill and by the evening rush hour some are set to see not only heavy rain and severe gales, but a disruption into the evening rush hour.

“It’s all coming curiosity of this area of low pressure, that’s been out to the west all week and it’s creeping towards us.”
In the early hours of Friday morning there is going to some rain around, particularly in the north-west of the UK, as well as the Irish Sea and Scotland.
Whereas, in the east of the country it is much drier, but temperatures will drop to five Celsius in Norwich and Hull.
However, double figures on the south coast and perhaps London, although an area of low pressure will dictate the forecast.
The west of the UK is most likely to be affected by the weather system, as it crashes in, bringing with it gales.
These gales and heavy rain could cause disruptions and are predicted to hit western region initially, before spreading overnight and through to Saturday morning.

Today, the weather front will batter the coasts of south western England and southern parts of Wales – here gust could surpass 60mph.
Severe gales could cause damage to trees and there is likely to be poor conditions on the road in places such as Scotland and Northern Ireland, where there are very strong winds.
The weather front will continue to ravage the UK on Saturday, although the wet weather will move out to sea.
What’s more the winds are going to ease tomorrow, but there will be some blustery showers, some of which will be heavy.
Then, on Remembrance Sunday, Matt has predicted sunshine and showers, on the day for commemorating British and Commonwealth soldiers in the two World Wars.

The UK is braced for more heavy rain, following a couple of days of wet and windy conditions across the nation.
Bookmakers Coral have evens on this month to be the wettest on record in UK history at 6-4, as meteorologists predict thunderstorms to hit this weekend.
Coral’s spokesman Harry Aitkenhead said: “It had been 4-1 at the start of the month, but with a wet start and the worst yet to come the odds have been dropping by the day.”
“There’s now a real chance that this November will enter the record books as the wettest we’ve ever seen.”
The firm also make it odds on at 10-11 for wind speeds to reach 100mph or greater by the end of the weekend.
BBC Breakfast airs weekdays on BBC One at 6am.
