Crews Begin Demolition Process Following Partial Building Collapse In McKeesport

MCKEESPORT (KDKA) – Crews have started to tear down an old school building in McKeesport after it partially collapsed on Wednesday.
Just before 11 a.m., demolition began at the building in the 2800 block of Bowman Avenue.

On Wednesday, almost an entire wall fell, and bricks and cinder blocks tumbled into the street. The falling debris damaged some parked vehicles.
The couple living in the house next door was also evacuated.
