Police Investigate After Shots Fired In Carrick

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — At least one person was believed to be injured after shots were fired last Wednesday night in Pittsburgh’s Carrick neighborhood.
Police were called to the 1700 block of Saw Mill Run Boulevard shortly after 10:30 p.m.
According to multiple accounts from the scene, one person was wounded by the gunfire and was able to drive themselves to UPMC Mercy Hospital to seek medical attention.

Police remained on the scene until around 12:30 a.m. More than a dozen evidence markers were placed around the scene.
There was no immediate update on the condition of the shooting victim or any possible suspects in the case.
